In 2004, when I was looking for a bulldog-like companion for my female DSH-Husky-Labrador mixed breed dog Pepper, I came across the Old English Bulldog. Up to now this was mainly to be found in the USA and so we came to our Bibo via an "emergency mediation". A mixed breed of English and Old English Bulldogs. Back then, Bibo was exactly what I wanted from a bulldog for me ... Smaller than an American Bulldog and more “sporty” than the English Bulldog. With a long, healthy tail and a great catch. A short time later, at a Bulldog meeting in Magdeburg, a good friend had the idea of founding the Continental Bulldog Club Germany and establishing the breed with us ... An idea was born and wishes came true. From 2009 to 2014 I worked full-time in the Capones kennel (formerly FFDogs & Capones) as a "dog nanny". There I was allowed to raise 16 Continental Bulldog litters and take care of mums, dads and babies on a daily basis. My two Continental Bulldogs Kaycee, Magic and were born in this kennel. In May 2015 our first own litter Continental Bulldogs was born, in October we completed the phenotyping in the VDH with Kaycee and Magic and since December 2015 both have been approved for breeding in the VDH. Amica was born in our 1st litter (2016) in the VDH. She has also completed the breeding approval in the VDH.
